In this walkthrough, you will learn to create a Price Book template based on a Painting job.
Painting Example
Refer to THIS article or a more general overview of how to create items inside Builder Prime’s Price Book feature. For definitions of commonly used terms, refer to THIS article. Below are the steps to create a Price Book example for typical Gutter projects.
First, create a parent category: Painting. Everything will be “under” this main category.
Next, make individual Items for different painting types: Interior and Exterior. Each type of painting project will be a unique item since, in my example, each will be priced differently by measurement ($X per sq ft)
Addons can also also be included to cover ceilings, baseboards, door frames, etc.
This is just one of many ways to set up Price Book! The goal is to build a flow that works best.
