Goal Access
Access to goals is permission controlled. Under Admin > Roles, the ability to create and view goals can be modified for each role type.
- Goal Access Control refers to the configuration of the goals and the ability to add and edit goals to the system.
- Goals Scope controls which goals the employee has the ability to see.
Goal Setting
Creating goals can be done for the organization, individual employees, and lead sources. Navigate to Admin > Configure > Goals to see and create goals. This page will show past, current, and future goals broken up by goal type.
To create the goal, you'll click the green button within the widget of the type of goal you'd like to create.
Fill out the required fields to configure the goal. The fields are listed below with a brief description.
- Goal Name - Enter an easily identifiable name for the goal.
- Assign to - For employee goals, choose the employee from the dropdown.
- Lead Source - For lead source goals, choose the lead source from the dropdown.
- Optional Class - If you are using classes, you can assign a class to the goal.
- Metric to be Measured - Choose which reporting metric the goal is based on.

- Appointments Set
- Leads Issued
- Demos
- Jobs Sold
- Sold Amount
- Lead Source Spend (Only applicable for Lead Source goals)
- Target - The specific number goal for the metric.
- Duration - Set whether this is a Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual goal. Once selected, you'll be prompted to add additional date parameters.
- Project Type (optional) - If this goal is specific to a project type, you'll be able to attach a project type to the goal.
Goal Reporting
Under the reporting section from the left menu and nested within the Sales and Marketing reports, there is a new Goals and Pacing report available.
To run the report, select the goal type within the dropdown to populate the list of goals and see what progress has been made.
Clicking into a specific goal on the report will open up additional details about how the goal is trending, including the pacing which will show if the goal is behind, on track, or met.
