Learn how to utilize Builder Prime to run a successful rehash campaign.

What is a rehash opportunity?

A Rehash Opportunity arises when a previous opportunity did not result in a successful outcome, and you wish to re-engage the client to reconsider their decision.

Unlike a New Opportunity, where the client typically initiates contact, a Rehash Opportunity involves you proactively reaching out to the client to revisit the earlier discussion.

Why would I rehash a lead?

Lead rehashing offers several key benefits when done strategically. Some of the popular reasons are below:

  1. Timing advantage - Prospects' needs and circumstances change. A lead who wasn't ready 6 months ago might be ready now
  2. Warmer conversations - You already have context about these prospects and previous interactions
  3. Cost-effective - These leads have already been acquired and qualified

How do I rehash a lead in Builder Prime?

First Step - Designate a Lead Status for Rehash

Choose an existing lead status or add a new one. Check the box to make this lead status the default for rehashing.

Within this lead status you can create an automated rehash campaign using email and text to communicate with the customer as well as to-do tasks or alerts for internal employees.

Some companies prefer to reassign rehash opportunities to a specific person within the company. To set this up as a default, navigate to Admin > Configure > Client Settings. At the bottom is a widget to designate this person.

Second Step - Click the Rehash Button

To rehash a lead, open the client record and click the rehash button at the bottom of the lead form. This will create a new rehash opportunity within the record, assign it the default rehash lead status, and pull forward important information. If you have automations attached to the rehash lead status, this will also trigger the campaign.

Measuring Success for Rehashed Leads

Rehash opportunities are pulled into the Rehash Performance report. This allows teams to measure the effectiveness of rehash campaigns or workflows. The report is a copy of our Lead Performance Report but only includes rehash opportunities.
