Can I merge client profiles or transfer jobs between clients?
At this time, Builder Prime does not allow for client profile merging or transferring jobs between clients.
We advise consolidating client data and then archiving the unnecessary client record(s).
Begin by gathering all relevant information from each profile. This might include contact information, additional contacts, notes, uploaded files and more. Copy and/or save this information.
Next, you will simply consolidate these details into a single profile. Once the necessary information has been combined, you can delete or mark the unwanted profile as "inactive" and/or "Do Not Contact". The 'Active' and 'Do Not Contact' toggles can be found near the top of the client record, near the name of the client.
If the unwanted record does not have any projects, jobs or work orders it can be deleted at your own discretion. Once it is deleted, there isn't an 'Undo' option.
Note: Projects/Jobs, Work Orders and Client Activity Data cannot be transferred. Please consider this when choosing which client profile to save and which to remove. The Builder Prime team will always advise managing this with caution - if you don't *need* to delete something, we encourage you to mark as 'inactive'. You never know when you may need to refer back to something!
