Changing an employee email login can be essential from time to time, but without following the correct steps they can get locked out of their account. Follow these steps to change an employee's email in Builder Prime.
1. Go to Admin > Employees and search for the employee
2. Open the Employee profile and select the "edit" icon on the email field
3. Edit the email address to reflect the employees new email address
4. At the bottom right of the edit window, select "Save & Close"
5. Read the warning. If the user doesn't yet have access to the new email address AND their old email address, they will be locked out of their account.
6. The user will receive a notification stating that they need to log in from their OLD email address. If they don't receive this notification, they may need to reset their password which is outlined in THIS article
7. After either path, navigate to the login screen and enter in the NEW Username and Password.
That's it! The employee email address is updated!
