Google Integration Troubleshooting

Follow the steps below if you're experiencing issues with the Gmail or Google Calendar integrations.

If the Google Calendar or Gmail integrations are throwing an error message when scheduling meetings or sending emails, the steps below will help to reset the connection.

  1. Disconnect the Google integration by navigating to Admin > Integrations and navigating to the appropriate integration. Click the "Disconnect" button.
  2. Go into your Google Account that's integrated with Builder Prime (via google.com for example, or on your Gmail or Calendar page).
  3. Click the user icon on the Google page - this is usually in the top right corner.
  4. Click "Manage Your Google Account." 
  5. Click "Third-party connection" on the left.
  6. Find Builder Prime in the list and click it to open that profile.
  7. Under "Builder Prime has some access to your Google Account" click "See details."
  8. Click "Remove all access."
  9. Return to Builder Prime to reconnect the integration. If you have both the Gmail and Google Calendar integrations set up for your account, you will need to redo the integration for both - the previous steps will removed access for both integrations (there is no way to remove access for only Gmail or Google Calendar).

    IMPORTANT - Google does not always check the required access boxes by default. Make sure you check the boxes when connecting the integration so Builder Prime has the right permissions for scheduling events and sending emails through the integration.
