Field users accounts have limited access. This type of account is typically provided for installers and laborers so they can access the information they needed to complete their work successfully.

Field User Features

Personal Production Calendar

When a Field User signs in, they will see projects they are assigned to. There are calendar views as well as list views available to see what's happening on that day and what is coming up over the next few days.

Access to Project Information

Clicking into the project from the list or the calendar will allow the team member to view work orders, important notes, and the client's address. The address link is clickable and will open Google Maps so the team member can easily navigate to the job site.

Project Log

Field users are able to view and update the project log with any important details as the project is progressing. These notes are also logged in the client record for easy access by management teams.

Clocking In and Out

Clock in against an assigned project or clock in from another location. Clocking into a project will populate time on the time card. If clocking in where no project is assigned, this time will be viewable under Shift Details, but it will need to be manually added to the Time Card.

Integrate with CompanyCam

Each user will have to connect their CompanyCam account with Builder Prime. To do this, navigate to Admin > Integrations > CompanyCam and make the connection. The integration allows for photos and comments to automatically upload to Builder Prime. Read our CompanyCam Integration article for more detailed information.

 

Mobile App Only - Collect and Record Payments

If the field user is using the mobile app, they will be able to view project invoices and collect payment on site from the customers. Access to this feature is controlled through permissions.
