Duplicate Lead Detection

Configure your setting to automatically flag potential duplicate leads that come in through the API or Zapier.

Builder Prime has the ability to flag potential duplicate leads and prevent automations from sending to the duplicate entry.

Setting Up the Parameters

1. To configure the time limit for detecting duplicate leads, navigate to Admin > Configure > Client Settings.

2. Scroll to the bottom widget called "Duplicate Lead Configuration" and choose a time range you'd like the software to monitor for repeat entries.

3. Save the changes.

4. The next time a duplicate lead is added to the system through the API or Zapier connection, the duplicate will be flagged, and any automations set up on the default lead status will not send.

What Fields Are Scanned?

Duplicates are detected based on opportunities created within the configured time window that have the same email address, phone number, or street address.

Where Will I See the Flag?

The potential duplicate flag is noted within the client record. There will be a message and a link to the original opportunity below the flag.
